Squidoo is a web 2.0 property which authority status in the eyes of Google that you can use to gain quick search engine placements. It is also a great way to get one way links to your main sites.

Many people are using Squidoo to direct to affiliate offers. Here's a run down of what you need to do:

1. Sign up to a few affiliate networks and find a niche
2. Make a squidoo lens page about your niche (provide good content)
3. Add your affiliate link or link to your website
4. Get the lens indexed and ranked by getting some good one way links
5. Keep building links to the lens until it hits the first page of Google.

It's been quite a while since I last posted here, about 3 months and 11 days to be exact..

Although I haven't been posting here, I've still been busy with Internet Marketing. I've learned more tips and tricks and I'll be sharing them with you soon on my brand new Internet Marketing website (The link will be shared in another post).

So...What I have learned in the past 3 months?

Well, Internet Marketing usually moves at a hugely rapid pace and these past 3 months have been no different. In these past 3 months I've learned about the Tag And Ping concept, a few Black Hat SEO tricks and how to niche blog properly. As i said before, I'll be sharing all these tips with you as soon as I can get my new site up and running.

A Website Slave For Free?

Ok, i was going to save this for later on in the week but i've decided to dive into it right now even though I'm currently typing up a Project Plan for MyAdsenseGuide.com.

Website Slavery For Free

The quickest, easiest and cheapest (free) way to build your own website slave is to use a free blogging account courtesy of Blogger.com. You can register and build a blog in minutes!

The reason why Blogger is great for website slavery is because it is free and has Adsense integrated! All you need to do is create an account, select a template, apply for Adsense then add Adsense through the Blogger control panel.

If you do not have an Adsense account already, getting one is relatively simple. Make a blogger account, fill it with some content then apply for Adsense. You should be granted an account within one week.

After you have your blog and an adsense account, add adsense into your blog. Make sure your adsense placements blend in with your blog (use colours which match your external links) to increase CTR (Click Through Rates). I have found that wrapping adsense around articles works well.

The ads that appear on your blog should be relevant to the topic of your blog. By topic, i mean the content in your blog i.e. Cars, Computers, Health, etc. Some niche topics will generate higher amounts of money per click than others depending on maximum bids by advertisers (there is a way to check this and it will be explained in a later post).

You should have half of a website slave ready now, but it is not quite ready yet. To increase your earnings, you should add related affiliate links to your niche. So for example, if your site is about Dieting, you might want to head over to Clickbank, PayDotCom or Tradedoubler and put an affiliate link to a dieting product on your blog. This means everytime you sell that dieting product, you will recieve a commission per sale (usually between $10 - $40 depending on price and commission level).

The use of Adsense and Affiliate links gives you the flexbility of earning from two income streams using one blog. You get the benefit of grabbing some "small change" (around $0.10 - $1 per click) from Adsense AND up to $40 per sale from an affiliate every day.

Your website slave is now complete. But one thing is missing. Yes, you need people to visit your site.Without traffic, you won't get any adsense clicks or any sales. Some of the methods i use to get traffic are:

1. Posting On Forums (advertise using signature at the bottom of each post)
2. Writing Articles (advertise using "Author's Resource Box")
3. Writing Press Releases
4. Search Engine Optimisation
5. Pay Per Click Traffic (Adwords and Overture)

The methods mentioned above are great for generating traffic. I'll need to go into them in a bit more detail but time is running out so i'll probably make another post later this week.

What you need to do now, is take some action and begin building your website slave. Remember, you can have an unlimited number of slaves.........all working for you while you sleep......

Good Afternoon Readers (are there any?, lol),

I'll have a few days spare this week to do some updating and some serious Internet Marketing work. I seriously love this stuff, there's nothing better than making money from the comfort of your own home.......except making it while you sleep! (very possible)

Infact, believe it or not, most of the money i make through IM'ing is accumulated while i'm sleeping in my warm and cosy bed. How can this be? Well, it's simply because 80% my target audience are from Asia and America. This means that while i'm sound asleep, they are waking up and logging onto one of my automatic money-making machines (my websites, duh) and happily doing what consumers do....umm consume..

I don't really work, my websites do. They work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and i don't need to pay them! (ok so that's not technically true, website hosting costs £10 per year). Other than that, they are just the best employees in the world!

Let's move on to how to acquire your own "website slave"...for free. I'm currently developing a new site called MyAdsenseGuide.com (i've registered it already because i knew you were thinking of stealing it and selling it back to me for $1000, which i probably would've bought....but thats a story for another day...) Anyway, the new site is going to have everything you need to build a "website slave". It won't be solely based on adsense but also go into affiliate networks and other affiliate marketing details.

Guide To Outsourcing

Outsourced content is becoming increasingly popular and with the introduction of sites such as eLance and RentACoder, it has never been easier.

In my last post, i mentioned that there was a secret to the Stress Relief related site that i had just built. Well, that secret is that all of the content from that site was not written by myself - it was outsourced and written by someone else.

Why Did I Choose To Outsource?

Due to time constraints, i simply do not have enough time to write information for each niche market that i'm building a site for. Also, i may not have sufficient knowlegde on that particular market. Outsourcing allows me to get the information i want quickly and efficiently so that i can turn them into sites......which means more money for me.

What Did I Outsource?

You can outsource anything on eLance. You could have a website designed for you, graphics created for you or even a whole ebook written for you. However, For content sites, you'll want articles on your niche market written for you.

I had 10 articles on Stress written for me which i supplied the keywords for. The articles were all very well written from a highly experienced writer and took only 3 days turnaround.

How Did I Outsource And Can You Give Me Any Tips?

First of all, i made an account with eLance. I then had to verify my bank details with them (they make two small deposits and i had to verify both amounts). After that, i posted a project of what i wanted written. After the project was posted, i started recieving bids from writers who wanted to take on the project. In total, i recieved 15 bids with costs for 10 articles ranging from $80 to $200.

Some tips that i can give you are:

You Get What You Pay For (i.e. Lower price bids COULD mean lower quality writing).
Check Out The Writer's Previous Work BEFORE Accepting Any Bids.
Make An Info Sheet BEFORE you accept any bids.

An Info Sheet is simply a document which describes everything that you want the writer to do. i.e. You could include guidelines, keywords that they must use and any other rules. If you'd like the Info Sheet i used for my stress site as a template, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Was It Worth It?

Each article cost me $10 each, so for 10 articles i spent $100. All i need to do is make $100 back from that site and i've broke even which is perfectly achievable.

In my opinion, i would say that my decision to outsource WAS worth it. It saved me a lot of time and made setting up another content site extremely easy. I managed to set up the stress site in about an hour and now all i have to do is promote it so that it i make my investment back.

At the moment, the stress site DOES recieve some visitors but not a great amount. I'll be working on promoting the site in the next week and will update you all on the results.

I've got a spare 10 minutes so i thought i'd make a nice post on this blog about site updates and the progress of some of my projects. Read carefully, you might learn something new.

I'll be online for the next 3 hours doing some work and keeping an eye out for one of my auctions. I'm currently selling a domain name on eBay and it's finishing in less than 3 hours. My reserve price has been met and there's 2 watchers on the auction......things could heat up very quickly towards the end...

I wasn't sure if i should post about this because the auction is still active. Oh well, it's too late now so i may as well "spill the beans". Last month, i read about Domain Name Trading, i decided to give it a try. I'm used to trading on Betting Exchanges but Domain Name Trading is much easier. All you need to do is Buy Domains and Sell them for more than you bought them for.

Sounds easy huh? Yep, there's no need to watch "volume of money" or price charts at all. You simply buy and sell domains for profit. Selecting which domains to buy is a little trickier, i'd recommend a nice generic term such as BuyStorage.co.uk (That's the one i'm selling).

I manage my domains on Sedo (Domain Parking Site) which provides stats and also a small stream of income IF one of the ads on my parked domains are clicked. Out of the 7 domains i have, i use 3 of them for business purposes and i'm going to be selling the rest.

Domain names are fairly cheap to buy, i bought mine for less than £10 for 2 years. You can also buy them on a monthly fee which is probably best if you want to sell them quickly (something that i'll be trying soon).

Back to the auction, the reserve price i set was £50. The intial bid i recieved was £35 and now it's at £50 with about two and a half hours to go. The only constraint to the amount you will make is amount of money your buyer has. Good Domains can sell for thousands of pounds, and if you're lucky, millions.

Adsense Content Sites.......Part 1

Hello All,

I'm just going to give you a quick introduction to Adsense Content Sites, i'll get into more detail as the parts progress. I'm thinking about making this a 5 part post, i didnt make a formal plan or anything so we'll just see where this goes as i can always revise my posts later.

Adsense Content Sites - What Are They?

Imagine a website with content. The content could be anything (sports, dogs, cars, etc. ) and surrounding the content are Google Adsense Ads. Each time the Adsense Ads are clicked, the owner of the website will be paid. The amount they are paid depends on the bids for that particular keyword and it can be anything from $0.10 - to over $10. The relationship between the owner and the website visitor are as follows:

The owner wants to make money from clicks on their ads produced by their visitors and their visitors want quality information they are looking for.

So, if the owner wants more clicks, he/she needs to provide more pages of quality information.

How Much Money Can I Make?

The sky is the limit with Adsense Earnings. If you had one site which produced $5 per day, you make $150 per month. If you had two sites that made $5 per day, it would double to $300 per month. Apart from earning from adsense, you could also promote affiliate products to supplement your income. One of the sites that i own produces $200 per month in affiliate commissions alone.

The key is to develop a successful routine that you can replicate over and over again. Once you get into a good routine, producing Adsense sites will not be difficult.

How Do You Do It?

Make a plan and stick to it. To have a successful content site, the Ads will need to be blended into the site (matching colour schemes) to increase click-throughs. They should be placed in good areas on your site (places which are highly visable to the visitor, see Google Heat Map).

The site should have a good degree of Search Engine Optimisation so that search engines will rank it higher than competitors and it should also have a lot of backlinks from high PR sites so the site gets indexed into the major search engines.

How Do I Get Started?

The simplest way to get started with Adsense sites is to make your own blog. Blogger.com provides free blogs with integrated Adsense units.

A Sense Of Achievement

Good Afternoon,

I hope everyone is well and acting on the information on this blog. I use all of the methods here to generate my own personal income. Although, i fully realise that my strategies may not work for everyone because everyone is different -i do believe that if you read closely, you could make at least one of the revenue streams on this blog work for you.

This week has been great. My affiliate sales from ClickBank have increased and one of my adsense sites is sustaining a healthy $7 per day (almost $200 per month). But my greatest achievement of all this week was passing my driving test. Yep, it took one year and some temporary failure but it feels good now that it's finally over.

It is this determination that all of my readers should adopt too. Internet Marketing, Betfair Trading and Investing are not "Get Rich Quick" schemes. You really have to work at it. If you fail once, so what? You can try as many times as you want and out of all those times, you only need to be successful once. I don't know about you, but that's worth it for me.

Everyone has their stories of success, mine is being able to make an income from the internet starting with nothing. If you don't have a success story yet, i suggest you take action now to make it come true.

I'll even give you a push in the right direction. I want you to read as much as you can about the following topics:

Betfair Trading

Affiliate Marketing

Actually, just concentrate on one for now. I'd recommend reading up on Adsense Content Sites if you have no experience in Trading. I'll write a bit about my Adsense Content Strategies later this week to help supplement your learning.

The Latest Autosurf / HYIP News

The autosurf industry has been hit hard in the past month due to StormPay issues. However, i was pleased to learn today that some autosurfs are now making a come-back without the help of StormPay. In this post we'll be looking at some of the investments from our investment site, Invest-Tips.com.

We'll begin with StudioTraffic. ST is one of the more long-standing autosurfs but have stopped paying consistently over the past 3 months due to a range of different problems. They sent out a newsletter last month signalling the end of this confusion. I'll believe them once i recieve my payout.

Last month, i requested a payout through StormPay but due to StormPay freezing accounts, i couldn't be paid (oh and StormPay have stolen money from my account but we'll go into that another day). Thinking on my feet, i decided to change my payment processor to MoneyBookers but to my disappointment StudioTraffic declined my payout because of something in the Moneybookers' Terms and Conditions. Since StormPay and Moneybookers option seem to be out of the equation, i'm now left with either a cheque that i won't recieve (i'm in the UK) or Electronic Bank Transfer. I opted for EBT but had to verify my bank account so now i'm waiting for a reply from them. Will i be paid in March? I'm not sure.....

DadnDaves made an announcement today and they are now back on track. This is pretty good news but probably will not make a difference to most people because they are now a private club. I posted on Invest-Tips a while ago when they were accepting members, hopefully a few of you got in on time.

e-Gold seem to be the payment processor of choice for autosurfs at the moment. Alien Trust are now accepting e-Gold and have refunded all pending payments to their members. Cashouts begin on Friday, so if you still have an account balance at AT, please make sure you have an e-gold account so you can withdraw your balance. I'll be trying to make a withdrawal on Friday, so i'll let you know how it all goes.

The battle goes on between StormPay and 12DailyPro. I've heard rumours that they are both being investigated by federal authorities. Charis is supposed to be making an announcement this afternoon. Whether it will be good news or bad news remains to be seen. We're hoping for good news as we are still waiting for a pending payment. Once again, we'll be keeping you updated on this.

Turning Essays into Dollars....

Just thought i'd share an idea with all of you. We all know that we can make money from Google Adsense, in fact, it's pretty easy. All you need is a good system that you can repeat and you could be completing adsense sites in as little as 2 hours.

The tricky part about adsense sites is creating the content. You can get free content from article sites but the Google do not like these very much and it will affect your Search Engine rankings. This afternoon, while i was cleaning out some junk, i noticed some old college reports and essays that i had lying about. I was just about to dump them when i realised that i could make money from them (turning them into adsense sites)!

I quickly loaded up some software to find how popular the topic was, if the market was competitve and how much i would get per adsense click. I was amazed to unravel a great niche market! The keyword gets around 70,000 searches per month and adsense clicks are worth up to $4. This is a potential $500+ adsense site!

So, the lesson i learned today was - "Don't throw away old essays and reports because they could be great adsense sites". Oh.....and the topic was Cv and Resumes.

My Thoughts And Strategy On StormPay...

Thanks for taking time to read this post. I'd just like to write something on what i personally think about StormPay and my strategy regarding this problem (which you can adopt too).

Well, i'm sure you've heard by now that StormPay have frozen the accounts of several autosurfs including 12DailyPro, Alien Trust and DadnDaves. There is a lot of speculation and rumour surrounding this topic on the internet, however i am only concerned about the facts.

Alien Trust, 12DailyPro and DadnDaves have had their StormPay accounts frozen which means that they cannot pay members. All three autosurfs are no longer accepting new members until this problem has been sorted out.

The admin of 12DailyPro, Charis, is currently trying to regain access to her 12DailyPro account so that members can be refunded. She has sent out numerous emails regarding this whole situation. We are hoping that they will regain their funds as soon as possible.

The latest post by Vince, The Alien Trust Admin, suggests that Alien Trust may close and re-open with a new site and a new payment processor. EMO (Electronic Money Order) looks like the payment processor of choice for autosurfs at the moment. If Alien Trust starts a new site, it is unlikely that members will be getting a refund as funds have been lost to StormPay.

It looks like StormPay have just come in and taken money from autosurfs out of pure greed. There are a lot of rumours regarding the integrity of StormPay and the real reason they have frozen merchant accounts. I won't go into it here but all i'll say is that i am not a happy StormPay customer.

So now that we know the facts, what should be OUR plan of action? I have over $1000 in autosurfs at the moment which use StormPay.

There is not much we can do except from wait for new developments as they occur. My advice is to withdraw all your funds from StormPay as I do not deem them a trustworthy organisation and i'd rather not place my money in the "safe-keeping" of these people. I have already requested the withdrawal of funds which were not in autosurfs. After this incident, i don't think any autosurf will want to use them again.

Hopefully, all of the readers here have not taken a big hit and the funds they make from lower risk hyips such as CG Financial (200% ROI in 4 months) will make up for some of the losses. We also hope that you had funds in e-gold and did not just hold money in StormPay. Funds in StormPay should also have been fed into your bank account every month to "take profit".

Whatever happens in the future, i'll be keeping you updated on the latest happenings regarding the autosurf industry. I hope that we've all learned something from these unfortunate events and will adapt our strategies to prevent this from happening again.

Internet Marketing On My Mind

Greetings,

6 months ago, i started this blog as a place to post my thoughts about how i use the internet to generate an income. I started with posting about how i made money using Betfair which led to a website called BetMatching.co.uk. I was pretty happy with the site and it's still surviving today, averaging about 1000 unique visitors per month with no advertising.

After about 2 months, i discovered High Yield Investments and Autosurf programs. I must admit, i didn't believe that i could could make money with them - it just seemed too easy. Anyway, i had nothing to lose, so i gave it a try. I started with one investment and now i have a portfolio of 7 which can be found on my other site, Invest-Tips.com. I'm glad i took the risk, because it's paid off now. I've recovered my initial investment and have got some real passive income under my belt now.

My main goal was to create passive income so that i would not have to work for money - money would work for me - which is why i've reduced the amount of time i spend trading on Betfair. At the moment, i'm concentrating on Internet Marketing which is a huge subject that i'm extremely interested in. I've already have some success but now i'm working on something of a larger scale. My own product.

The past 6 months have been great but it's time to make some serious money now. I hope that everyone will continue reading this blog to learn about the real way to make money online which, although challenged by many, is not a myth.

I'm really happy with the way the site is turning out and also quite pleased with the success i've been having with Autosurf / High Yield Investments (See Investment Portfolio on Invest-Tips). I'm in profit at the moment and have some strong investments in my portfolio. Hopefully, they'll all work out well.

Music While You Work!

I don't know about you, but i like to listen to music while i'm working on my computer. This is why i was pleased when i found Pandora. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it is great. I was doing some research today and came across an interesting article on the BBC news website. It was about someone from San Fransisco earning a living from his home from playing an online game!

He plays Ulitma Online and then sells the items to people across the internet for money in the real world. The money goes into his paypal account which he can then withdraw into his bank account.

I've been so busy lately, i haven't had time to update the blog. I've got a few updates for you though. Firstly, BetMatching.co.uk has been given a complete makeover. It has been "scaled down" so that it doesn't require constant updates. I've had to do this because it's time to focus on other projects. However, i will still be updating the site whenever i have time.

I'll be looking to post some more tutorials on Internet Marketing on this site very soon. I've gained a lot of experience these past 2 months and i'd like to share them with you. If anyone owns a website and would like learn how to make money from it, please do not hesitate to contact me as i'd be happy to help.

The above quote was from a book i've been reading called "Think and Grow Rich". I mentioned this book a while ago but have still not actually finished reading it because i've been so busy.

The quote stood out to me and i just wanted to make a quick post above it because i completely agree. Whether you're trying to make money from trading on betting exchanges or through Internet Marketing or even trying to pass a driving test, if you really want to succeed - you must not quit!

Before i was making consistent profits at the betting exchanges, i had been trying various methods to try to succeed. None of them worked. I used to spend weeks planning and testing strategies and none of them worked. I spent money on buying "Betting Systems", yet still failed to turn over a profit.

Eventually, after months of testing and persistance, i finally found a way to profit from the exchanges. And now, that profit makes up a substantial part of my overall income. The way i see it, if i had quit all those years ago, i wouldn't be here writing to you from this blog today. I would have probably been working for someone i hated in an underpaid job.

So my advice to you is - Don't quit just because you are experiencing temporary defeat. It doesn't matter how many attempts you take, you only need one to work to be a winner.

The importance of Diversifying Income

The internet is a land filled with treasure and mystery. Money-Making opportunities come and go in the blink of an eye. This is why it is important for me to diversify my online income.

I know that the money we make on the internet can be easily taken away in an instant, sometimes, without warning. I search for job security and a job that feels more tangible but a job offline and working for someone else would not be as rewarding.

To combat this feeling of lack of job security, i try to diversify my online income. I never "put all my eggs in one basket" because i am aware that if one of my online streams of income are shut off, i must be able to survive without it. With this in mind, my aim is to make sure that each of my online streams of income are able to support me individually if the others should fail.

My goal is to acquire assets in the online world to generate passive income so that i can invest in the offline world. Achieving assets both online and offline would increase job security.

There are many ways to build assets in the online world, we will focus on how to acquire these online assets in this blog. If you are a regular reader of this blog, you will already be aware of 3 assets that anyone can use, including yourself. I won't tell you what they are yet, you'll need to look deeper but they are definately on this blog.

On the subject of betting and gambling, we will be focusing on third-party software for Betting Exchanges. We will be reviewing and showing you how to use 2 software packages for trading on Betfair. My aim is to capture one of my trading techniques on video for you to see.

Please do not be fooled into thinking that buying software to help you trade will make you instantly successful. Trading software is only as good as the person using it. This is why i urge everyone to learn the basics of manually using the Betfair interface. Due to this, i will be adding more articles to do with Betting Exchange Basics into the "Betting Exchanges Introduction" section of BetMatching.co.uk.

Financial Trading Tutorial ( Time-Decay )

I have decided to write the Financial Trading tutorial here because it allows me to edit things easier than on BetMatching.co.uk. If you haven't been on this site before, this is my blog and it has a lot of information on other ways to make money on the internet besides betting and gamblling. Feel free to take a look around. Anyway, lets begin with the tutorial:

Financial Trading for beginners

First of all, i hope you are familiar with how betfair works. The Betfair basics are explained on BetMatching.co.uk.

Go to the Betfair site and bring up the financial bets from the menu on the left of their website. The Intraday bets are the ones you want (can be FTSE or DOW index). It should bring up a list of hours in the format 1pm - 2pm, etc. Click on the hour that is in-play right now. The odds should be displayed as below:

We have our Betfair screen ready, but we are not quite ready to place our bets just yet. Before we place our bet, we need to analyse the index using charts so that we can be sure that we'll be on the correct side of the bet.

I recommend using yahoo charts which are free ( http://finance.yahoo.com ). Once you have the Yahoo charts window up, you need to find the graph of the index you are trading. You can type in the index symbol into the search bar at the top of the page (^FTSE for FTSE index and ^DJI for DOW index). I will be trading the FTSE so i'll be using the FTSE chart. After you find the chart you are trading, click on the technical analysis section to give you a more detailed chart, your Yahoo page should look something like this:

I won't go into reading charts right now because the topic is too large. There is plently of information on reading charts available on the internet if you want to learn in more detail. For this tutorial, i am just going to focus on my method.

I use charts to make a decision on whether i think the index is going to rise or fall. I back the outcome on Betfair on whether the index is likely to end above or below the level they specified ( from the screenshot, we can see that the betfair level is above or below 5283.30 ).

At 1pm today, my charts indicated that the index would rise above the level. All i did was place a back bet on that outcome and then placed a lay bet to guarantee a profit. The result? Well take a look for yourself:

The green figures under the Betfair levels show us the amount that we will win. This screenshot shows us that we will profit no matter the outcome. If the FTSE finishes above 5283.30 we will win £9.70. If it finishes below 5283.30, we will win £13.53. We can't lose.

I used the calculator available here to calculate my stakes. This method is so simple. All you need to do is figure out whether or not the index will rise or fall then back and lay that outcome. To guarantee a profit, you must back at higher odds than you lay.

Sometimes i back the outcome when it reaches 1.10, then a few moments later i lay at 1.05. The odds will fall as time passes on the outcome that looks most likely.

I usually back and lay when there is only 10 - 15 mins of in-play time left (for the 1pm - 2pm time band, i only bet at around 1.45pm). This limits risk as there is only 15 minutes left until the outcome is decided. A summary of this method has been provided below:

1. Find the most likely outcome ( look for low odds, confirm your decision with charts )

2. Place back bet
3. Click on the lay side of that the most likely outcome
4. Offer odds a few ticks lower than your back bet (i.e back at 1.10 then offer to lay at 1.05)
5. Use the bet calculator and calculate your stake to guarantee a profit
6. Place your lay bet
7. Sit back and wait until your lay bet is matched
8. Bet matched, you have now guaranteed a profit!

I hope this post has been useful to you. Remember that our aim here is to make a lot of small wins (i.e 5% every hour), do not get greedy as this increases your chance of a loss. I have found that this method works very well for me.

"We will be trading the FTSE index on Betfair in the morning. Our aim is to "lock in a profit" so that we are guaranteed a return, no matter the outcome of the event. This is not your standard "arbitrage". We will ONLY be using Betfair. We aim for small, relatively risk-free, returns every hour. The usual yield is around 5% whch equates to roughly 40% ROI every day and 200% a week!"

Identifying Your Niche

In this part of "An introduction to......Internet Marketing!" we will be taking a look at the ways Internet Marketers identify their niche.Before setting off on your long Internet Marketing journey, you need to have a idea of the type of site you are going to create and also ask yourself "where is the money going to come from?". In our previous article we identified that we could
make money from Google Adsense, Affiliate Programs or selling our own product. Which one of them suits your niche?

There are two approches to Internet Marketing. You either build content FOR your niche or you build content AROUND your niche.

Building content FOR your niche means that you identify a niche market and build your website around it. This approach requires no previous knowledge on the topic you are marketing but WILL require a lot of research. This type of "content-building" technique is usually used by the more advanced marketers due to the amount of time and effort needed to research the market and the topic. We will talk about research methods in later in this guide.

The second approach is building content AROUND your niche. This means that you already have sufficient knowledge about the topic (usually something that interests you i.e. computing). You will then build a site around the topic that you already have knowledge about and add methods to monetize the site (Google Adsense, etc). This approach is more suited to beginners because it is easier and takes less time to write about a topic that you already know.

Researching Your Niche

The end result that you are trying to achieve is to build a money-making machine that requires little or no effort to maintain. This creates "passive income" also known as "making money without working". Every niche needs some degree of research effort invested in it. I am not talking about researching your topic, i'm talking about researching every aspect of your site i.e. "Who are my competitors? Where is my traffic going to come from? What are the best ways to monetize this type of niche?"

Additional research time should be given to researching keywords and ways to make your website design clean and user friendly. First impressions are everything.

Monetizing your Niche

There is no right or wrong way to monetise your niche site. Although some ways may be more profittable than others, it is up you to experiment with what works. Part 3 of "An introduction to.......Internet Marketing!" will take you through my tried and tested ways to convert niche sites into cash. We will be focusing on ways to implement Google Adsense, Affiliate products and selling your own product.

The Internet Marketer

Internet Marketing is another way in which you can make passive income online. Internet Marketers are able to convert their own websites into money-making machines that are able to generate anything from $1 to more than $1000 a day!

I won't attempt to fool you and say Internet Marketing is easy. It isn't. It takes a lot of time and effort but the rewards are definitely worth it.

"So how do Internet Marketers make money from websites?"

Internet Marketers are able to make money from a variety of different ways but the most successful will utilise:

1. Google's Adsense and other Pay per click programs (i.e Yahoo! Publisher)
2. Affiliate programs
2. Selling their own product (This could be their own eBook or software)

Google's Adsense and other pay per click programs pay you an amount of money(usually around 20c) for every click on their ads. With one Adsense account, you can put the adsense code they provide you with, on all of your sites. To put this into perspective, imagine you recieved just 2 clicks a day for one month on one of your sites, this would generate $12 in one month. Ok, so its not a great amount. But how about if you had 10 sites? This figure would turn into $120! What about 100 sites? .....yes, thats $1200 a month!

Affiliate programs are also popular among Internet Marketers. This is because affililate programs mean that the Internet Marketer does not have to actually stock the product. All they do is help their affiliate sell their products for a cut in commission everytime they make a sale.

Another way to make money is to for Internet Marketers to sell their own product. This is usually their own eBook or their own software (sometimes they will out-source a programmer to design a program for them). The advantage of selling your own product is that you get to keep all of the money made from sales.

"What Next?"

Now that you know where Internet Marketers make money from, you'll probably want to try it for youself. I must stress that it is not as simple as it looks. However, no need to worry, as we'll be explaining how to get started in part 2 of "An Introduction to.......Internet Marketing!"

In the meantime, you might want to read up on Internet Marketing if you are interested in the subject. I recommend reading on forums and some good ones are just a search away on google.

I'd like to take time to define the topic of this blog. The main topic of this blog is not betting and gambling. The topic of this blog is about Personal Finance. With personal finance, i mean that this site aims to help individuals unlock online streams of income which do not require a lot of time to manage. Our purpose is to help you create passive income (income which does not require you to work).

Many people have been using Google's Adsense to generate income on the internet. If you are familiar with html and do not know what Adsense is, i suggest you learn about it.

Adense is Google's advertising program which pays publishers (webmasters) money for each of their ads that are clicked from your site. There are a lot of success stories available on the internet about Adsense, some people have even been reported to be earning as much as $1000 a day!

A great source of information is the MarketingSyndrome blog. MarketingSyndrome offers tips and advice on Internet Marketing and using adsense. If you don't know about MarketingSyndrome, you should definitely check it out.

Action Planning

I have met a lot of people who seem very interested in starting their own small business. They have big dreams about living in a big fancy house with a stunning wife and a red sports car parked outside. The problem is that they seem to never have the time to actually do it. I looked up the term "procrastinate" on Google and found that one of the main reasons people procrastinate is due to fear.

People are afraid to step out of their comfort zone because they feel "safe" and "secure" working in their jobs and by having a job they have no time to look for other opportunities. The end result is that they work for someone else for 60 years until retirement.

If you are serious about starting your own small business, i would advise you to start writing an action plan. Even noting down some bullet points on how you will achieve your goals will help prevent procrastination.

Before i began designing my websites, i planned everything on paper first. This helped me to focus on the task i was trying to achieve. In the end, i managed to start 2 websites within four days and they are now generating passive income for me.

Be aware of procrastination, it could stop you from achieving your full potential!

The 1st of October today. So what's new? Well, I haven't had much free time today so my trading article will have to be postponed until tomorrow. I apologise for the extra wait, but it will be worth it!

I recieved an E-mail from Alex at Student Entrepreneur today. He asked me a few questions and i thought it would be good to post my reply on here as well as it provides some background on me:

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki

I began reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki a few days ago, after a friend recommended it to me.

This book is about opening your eyes to "Financial Literacy" so that you can teach yourself and your kids about "how to make your money work for you, instead of working for money". Kiyosaki believes that:

"The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money...but never learn to have money work for them"

So what does this book teach you? Rich Dad Poor Dad teaches you about building assets and looking for opportunities to help you turn your earned income into passive income(monthly income that does not require you to work). It also provides a good financial knowledge foundation for anyone thinking about improving their income.

Most of the lessons taught in this book are through Kiyosaki frequently referring to his childhood years where he was a given contrasting advice by his educated dad and his rich dad. It is this style of "learning through experience" that makes this book an excellent read. Kiyosaki makes it clear, time after time - that going to school, working hard and working for someone else for 60 years until retirement is not the best advice to give to your children in this statement:

"The world has changed but the advice has remained the same"

This book is packed with new advice adapted to the changing world. We are no longer living in the past - the days of going to school to get a good job to earn more money have long gone. Rich Dad Poor Dad challenges your belief that you have to earn a high income to become rich and, more importantly, shows you how to adapt to the changing world.
